How To Clear Your FiveM Cache

To clear your FiveM cache, first, ensure FiveM is completely closed. Then, open File Explorer and navigate to %localappdata%\FiveM. Delete the "FiveM" folder. Finally, restart FiveM, and it will automatically rebuild the cache.

Detailed Steps:

• Close FiveM: Make sure FiveM is not running in the background.
• Navigate to Local App Data: Open File Explorer and type %localappdata% into the address bar and press Enter.
• Locate the FiveM Folder: You should find the "FiveM" folder within the Local App Data directory.
• Delete the FiveM Folder: Delete the entire "FiveM" folder.
• Restart FiveM: Launch FiveM again. It will automatically re-download necessary files and rebuild the cache.

Alternative Method

If you're having trouble clearing the cache, try deleting the "priv" and "server" folders within the FiveM Application Data/Cache folder. This can sometimes resolve issues if deleting the entire folder doesn't work.

When To Clear Cache:

• After server updates
• When experiencing texture or model glitches
• If you encounter connection issues
• When scripts aren't loading properly

How To Bind A Key in FiveM™

• Press F8 to open the console
• Type the following (examples):

NOTES

• The above listed commands can be copy/pasted into the F8 command box and commands as well as keys can be changed to meet your needs.
• Any /command can be used.
• Emotes can also be used but they use a different command line.
• Any keyboard key can be used but you must know what Windows™ and FiveM™ calls that key.

How to Unbind A Key in FiveM™

• Press F8
• Type the following (example key):

unbind keyboard F12

• Press ENTER
• Press F8 to close console.
• Test keybinds.

• Law Enforcement - Maintain law and order as LSPD, BCSO, or State Police
• Emergency Medical Services - Save lives as an EMT or Paramedic
• Fire Department - Respond to fires and other emergencies
• Mechanic - Repair and upgrade vehicles
• Taxi Driver - Transport citizens around the city
• Truck Driver - Deliver goods across the map
• Fisherman - Catch and sell various fish species
• Miner - Extract valuable minerals from the quarry
• Real Estate Agent - Help citizens find their dream homes
• Lawyer - Represent clients in court while working your way thru the ranks of our Department of Justice(whitelist required)
• Certified Flight Instructor - Take to the skies training all civilian and LEO pilots in Grit City (whitelist required)

• Dispatcher - Show off your communication skills as a Certified Dispatcher for all Emergency Services branches(whitelist required)

Criminal Activities

For those with less legitimate aspirations, several illegal activities exist. Remember that criminal actions have consequences and risk factors:

• Drug Production/Dealing - Manufacture and sell illegal substances
• Robbery - Target stores, banks, or individuals
• Car Theft - Steal and sell vehicles
• Black Market Trading - Deal in illegal goods and contraband
• Hacking - Bypass electronic security systems

Note: Criminal activities should be roleplayed properly and follow server rules regarding escalation, planning, and NLR (New Life Rule).

Business Ownership

Beyond regular employment, ambitious citizens can establish their own businesses:

• Restaurants/Cafés - Serve food and beverages
• Retail Shops - Sell various goods to citizens
• Nightclubs - Entertainment venues for nightlife
• Repair Shops - Specialized vehicle services
• Private Security - Protect clients and properties
• Entertainment Venues - Start a career in the amusement industry with your own bowling alley or pool hall

Currency Overview

Grit City uses a carefully balanced economy system designed to provide realistic progression and meaningful financial choices:

• The standard currency is USD ($)
• New citizens start with $5,000 cash / $30,000 in the bank to begin their life in Grit City
• Bank accounts are available at all Maze Bank locations
• ATMs are located throughout the city for convenient access
• Money can be stored as cash (in inventory) or in bank accounts
• Cash transfers between players are possible through the inventory menu
• Bank transfers require the recipient's account details

Income Sources

There are multiple ways to earn money in Grit City:

• Legal Jobs - Steady income with minimal risk
• Business Ownership - Higher potential earnings with investment required
• Investments - Stock market trading and property ownership
• Criminal Activities - Higher risk but potentially higher rewards
• Item Crafting - Create and sell specialized items
• Saving/Interest - Hold your valuable income in a savings account and benefit from interest earnings
• Trading - Buy low, sell high on various commodities

Major Expenses

Managing finances requires balancing several ongoing expenses:

• Property Costs - Apartment rent or house mortgages
• Vehicle Expenses - Purchase, customization, insurance, and repairs
• Taxes - Income tax on legal earnings (automatically deducted)
• Food and Basic Needs - Regular consumption requirements
• Medical Care - Hospital bills after injuries
• Legal Fees - Court costs, fines, and lawyer fees
• Business Overhead - Staff salaries, supplies, and utilities

Money Laundering

Criminal earnings often come as "dirty money" which must be laundered before it can be deposited in banks or used for major purchases:

• Dirty money has a distinct inventory item appearance
• Various laundering methods exist (discovered through roleplay)
• Laundering typically incurs a percentage fee
• Carrying large amounts of dirty money increases risk if caught by law enforcement

Note: Money laundering mechanics are intentionally not fully documented - discover them through roleplay and character connections.
